Welcome, Fall!
As seasons change, we often feel a sense of renewal as well. This year, more than ever, we could all use a reset. The muggy Baltimore summer has come to a close and we look forward to crisper weather, the changing leaves and all that Springwell's beautiful campus has to offer in the fall!
"The grounds at Springwell were one of the main draws for us. I love how much space there is to walk in nature, the defined paths and how we can take time to observe all the lovely parts of the four seasons." —IL Resident
Getting outside is good for both our physical and mental health. Springwell has many places around campus to walk, relax and enjoy the outdoors. We recently completed three new curb cuts to the on-campus sidewalk, which includes the serpentine path on the North Lawn, the Overlook Breezeway and the path encircling the Homestead building, to make it all fully handicap accessible. The full loop measures 1/3 of a mile. The walking path at neighboring Northwest Park is accessible as well; it offers glimpses of youth soccer this time of year and a beautiful bridge which extends the path over Northern Parkway. With some cooler, beautiful months coming up, we hope many residents can get out and enjoy these amenities!
