Tavon Rosber Named Director of Dining Services

Tavon Rosber has been named Director of Dining Services at Springwell. In his new role, Rosber will oversee all aspects of dining services, including healthy dining, employee motivation, standards compliance, inventory control, and customer service. A Baltimore International College, School of Culinary Arts graduate and guest instructor, Rosber is known for creating innovative dining experiences as well as mentoring high performance culinary teams in senior living settings. With more than 20 years of culinary experience, Rosber joins Springwell from Normandie Ridge in York, Pa. where he introduced a number of upgrades to the dining services program at the continuing care retirement community. These upgrades will also be implemented at Springwell. "Tavon's goal is to provide the best possible dining experience for Springwell residents, and he is committed to translating the latest trends in the industry into dining experiences for our residents," said Springwell Director/Principal Phil Golden. "We are looking forward to introducing his innovative ideas to the community. "Rosber said he is a proponent of using local seasonal ingredients and is excited to be working with area farms and vendors to provide the freshest ingredients for the residents of Springwell. By sourcing locally, he plans to create menus that are not only healthy and nutritious, but also support the local economy while providing the best possible dining experience for residents.
