Springwell Senior Living Names Moses Tesfayohannes New Director of Nursing

BALTIMORE, May 23, 2023 — Springwell Senior Living in historic Mt. Washington is pleased to announce that Moses Tesfayohannes has been named the new Director of Nursing. He will be responsible for the supervision of patient care in Springwell’s Assisted Living community.

Tesfayohannes, a nurse for 18 years, has spent his career in senior care. Since 2012 he has been employed at Springwell, where he oversaw the memory care unit during his first year, and served as a nighttime nurse supervisor for the past ten years.

Before coming to Springwell, Tesfayohannes worked as a RSC (Residents’ Service Coordinator) at HCR ManorCare, the memory care unit at Arden Court.

“Moses has done a fantastic job in his current role at Springwell,” said Phil Golden, Principal and Executive Director at Springwell. “Post-pandemic nursing has become very challenging, and Moses has remained committed and diligent in his care of our residents. I’m looking forward to working closer with him as our new Director of Nursing.”

In addition to earning his LPN at JC Inc. Nursing School in Washington, D.C., Tesfayohannes holds an associate degree in nursing (RN) from Capscare School of Nursing and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Chamberlain University.
