Spring is beautiful at Springwell!
At Springwell, residents enjoy the pretty display of spring flowers in the Breezeway, Butterfly Garden, Wellness Garden and at other venues. Nell Crawford, Frank Simmonds and other gardeners watch over them.
Nature lovers can sit in the Breezeway and on the Terrace and watch subtle color changes in the row of trees along Springwell’s Enslow Road and Wexford Avenue. Buds open and the browns and greys of winter soon show spots of green and the trees steadily become Sherwood Forest thick.
Listen carefully beyond the trees on either road; you might hear the sound of children from Mount Washington and Roland Park playing soccer, lacrosse, softball or baseball. And every Saturday and Sunday mornings, between 8 and 10 a.m. the dogs unleash the owners and romp on the Enslow Road field.
Come by and see how Spring is blooming at Springwell!
