Moving Into Spring with Confidence: New Onsite Rehabilitation at Springwell
As the snow begins to melt and the days grow warmer, many of us feel that familiar pull to get moving again. A short walk outside, fresh air, and a little sunshine can do wonders for both body and spirit.
At Springwell, spring is a season of renewal — and this year, it also brings added peace of mind for residents and families.
Beginning March 1, Springwell is partnering with Assisted Rehab, Inc., a trusted Baltimore-based geriatric rehabilitation provider, to offer professional therapy services right here in our community. As residents look ahead to a more active season, having experienced rehabilitation support onsite makes it easier to move with confidence and enjoy the days ahead.
The Benefits of Staying Active
Staying active plays an important role in maintaining balance, strength, and independence. Whether it’s taking a stroll around campus, participating in an exercise class, or simply moving comfortably through daily routines, regular movement helps reduce fall risk and supports overall well-being.
Activity also benefits emotional health. Gentle movement can lift mood, increase energy, and help residents feel more engaged and connected. As spring encourages more time outdoors and new routines, having the right support in place helps residents feel safe and steady as they enjoy being active.
Most importantly, staying active isn’t about pushing limits — it’s about doing what feels right for each individual. For residents recovering from illness or injury, experiencing changes in mobility, or looking to improve balance, personalized therapy can provide reassurance and renewed confidence.
Onsite Rehabilitation at Springwell
Through this new partnership, residents now have convenient access to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy without leaving the community. Having therapy available onsite means fewer appointments to manage, less travel, and care that fits naturally into daily life.
Assisted Rehab, founded in 1997, is known for its collaborative, patient-centered approach. Their therapists work closely with Springwell’s care team and communicate directly with families, ensuring continuity, clear progress updates, and personalized support tailored to each resident’s goals.
Assisted Rehab will retain Springwell’s two dedicated full-time therapists as part of their team — providing continuity of care and familiar faces residents already know and trust.
As Phil Golden of Springwell shared, “We’re excited to welcome Assisted Rehab to Springwell and delighted that they’ll retain our two dedicated full-time therapists. This partnership strengthens our mission of providing a safe, warm, and vibrant place for our residents to live, with consistently outstanding care and hospitality.”
Together, Springwell and Assisted Rehab share a commitment to helping residents age in place with greater independence — supporting longer, healthier, and more vibrant lives within a familiar and supportive environment.
Moving Forward, Together
Spring is a time for fresh starts and looking ahead with optimism. With the launch of onsite rehabilitation services on March 1, Springwell continues its thoughtful commitment to high-quality, comprehensive care — all within the comfort of home.
As residents enjoy walks, activities, and time spent outdoors this season, they can do so knowing support is close by. At Springwell, we’re proud to help residents and families embrace spring with confidence, comfort, and peace of mind.
