It’s summertime which means it’s time for backyard barbeques and neighborhood cookouts. What better way to spice it up than with a refreshing summer salsa!
We asked Springwell’s director of dining services, Chef Chris Coil, what his favorite salsa recipes were and he generously shared his top three. First up is the delicious Mango Salsa which pairs very well with blackened chicken, salmon, steak, or tuna. This was featured at the Springwell Luau in May and was quite a hit! Next is the refreshing Watermelon Salsa. Pair with any white flaky fish such as cod, halibut, or tilapia for a mouthwatering combo. Last but certainly not least is the classic Blackbean Corn Salsa. Both the Watermelon and Black Bean Corn Salsa will be featured at Springwell’s Cowboy Cookout coming up on June 27th.
